O plantão do último sábado (17) no Complexo Hospitalar Regional Deputado Janduhy Carneiro (CHRDJC), em Patos, registrou um feito inédito na unidade, que foi a realização de uma cirurgia denominada Bypass femoro poplíteo infragenicular. O procedimento cria uma nova rota para o fluxo sanguíneo, contornando a artéria obstruída ou danificada. No caso do paciente da unidade, foi utilizado um enxerto vascular utilizando a veia safena.
